I bought this faucet because the original in our Forest River Wildcat bathroom spilled out so close to the rear of the basin that it was almost useless ! The folks where I purchase it were good enough to give me some drawing dimensions, so that I could clearly see that this one was a full inch closer to the center of the basin. In addition, it was angled better! Just note that being a single lever, the piping at the bottom comes down thru the center, instead of under each of the two control handles. . You may have to drill a new center hole, as I did. Not a big deal. Very satisfied with the new effect.
The standard two handle plastic faucet in our Outlaw motorhome was of very poor quality and it was not easy to control the scalding hot water that comes out. This faucet is a terrific upgrade! Very nice quality and feel with smooth action on the single handle. Install was simple and quick.
The only thing I think that should be included with this faucet is a rubber base gasket. Since no gasket is included there should be a groove around the base of the faucet to use plumbers putty but there is not. We ended up using silicone caulking around the base of ours but it is no where near as clean as using a gasket or putty.
Matches my other fixtures and sets directly over the drain, so the water doesn't splash. I also like the single lever that I can turn on and off with my arm instead of getting water everywhere.
Quality upgrade. Helpful customer service, especially for an amateur like me.
